The Theta Theta Chapter at Quinnipiac University has had a busy few months, establishing ourselves as one of the most active organizations on campus, as well as participating in our first formal recruitment.
Our first ‘Meet The Sisters’ event was held in November 2009, and included making blankets and cards for the families at the Ronald McDonald House, our international philanthropy, in New Haven. December was a fun month as well, especially when we supported Delta Tau Delta on their colonization, celebrating with a ‘Guess Who’ themed mixer.
January 2010 was by far the busiest month, as it concluded with what we’ve all been looking forward to most- formal recruitment! After a long but enjoyable week, our chapter welcomed home 54 beautiful, intelligent, fabulous women! Our crazy January ended with a chapter retreat- 1960’s themed- and a bonding trip to a Quinnipiac Bobcats hockey match. Our new Alphas were even treated to a special surprise at the game- President Kelly Cox singing the National Anthem!
Our chapter is looking forward to more mixers and socials with other Greek organizations in the upcoming months, as well as trips to the New Haven RMH and more chapter bonding experiences.
